9/7/20 Journal Entry – I am getting married tomorrow! Dennis and I have done lots of cleaning, sorting, and purging to be ready to combine two households. We have done a lot of talking, hugging, and kissing! Dennis is a good good man and You, Lord are a good good Father. Thank You for loving me. Thank You for sending Jesus to die for me! Thank You for putting Dennis in my life. Thank You for filling him with love for me and me with love for him. I am so very happy!”
I wrote my vows and tried to say them that day. “Dennis you are a Godly man – because you are a man after God’s heart you have won my heart. Dennis your name fits in the love chapter – (1 Cor. 13:4-5) Dennis is patient, Dennis is kind, Dennis is not proud, Dennis is not rude. Today I commit myself 100% to you. I promise to honor, submit, and respect you. I promise to do good to you all the days of my life.”
1 Cor 13:4-5 NIV “Love is patient love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking it is not easily angered, it deeps no record of wrongs.”
Eph. 5:33b Amp. …”and let the wife see that she respects and reverences her husband, that she notices him, regards him, honors him, prefers, venerates, and esteems him; and that she defers to him, praises him, and loves, and admires him exceedingly.”

Dennis is my bucket list but that nagging old question “What’s next, Papa” now for the two of us together? We agree that nothing in our lives is more important than each of our relationship with Jesus.

We share our love for special needs friends and the ministry of Special Touch. We serve a local chapter planning monthly meetings to have our friends experience lots of opportunities to know God.
We also, serve the Lord through CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association). We look for opportunities to share our faith in the Lord with those we meet on our journey – putting 8,000 miles on our Harley Trike last year.
This is the journey the Lord has us on right now. The Lord willing we will have many years to serve Him together. James 4:15 KJV “For that ye ought to say. If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.”
Corrie Ten Boom said “Hold loosely to the things of this life, so that if God requires them of you, it will be easy to let them go.”
Hang on loosely to belongings, homes, children, even a new marriage? I learned to daily give my 2 children to the Lord after learning they had a fatal disease.
Ps. 127:3 KJV “Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord.”

It is appointed for each of us to die. Hebrews 9:27
A song states, “Someday Jesus will call my name as days go by I hope I don’t stay the same I want to get so close to Him that it is no big change. On that day that Jesus calls my name.”
As a little girl, my family of 8 would travel to see my grandparents in a nearby town. It was usually after chores so it got late coming home. I would fall to sleep but would hear the car pull into our farm driveway. I purposefully didn’t move to get out of the car knowing my father would swoop me up in his strong arms and carry me up to bed. He would gently tuck me in my bed. I think that is how it will be when my Heavenly Father calls me home.
Jesus said in John 14:1-3 NIV “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so would I have told you that. I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
HEAVEN -The ultimate healing the ultimate NEXT for us who have filled that hole in our hearts with the Lord. Don’t leave here without asking Him in your heart.
